چکیده
Abstract Diabetes is among the top ten deadly diseases in world. It occurs either when pancreas does not produce enough insulin (INS) or body cannot effectively use it produces. Phloretin (PHL) has a biological effect that can treat diabetes. A spectroscopic study was carried out to explore interaction between phloretin and insulin. UV/Vis spectroscopy, fluorescence circular dichroism spectropolarimeter were used study. spectra showed PHL INS produced strong absorption at wavelength of 282 nm. The analysis results excitation emission occurred 280-nm 305-nm wavelengths, respectively. Temperature changes did affect emissions. Spectroscopic Study of the Interaction Between TCNQ and Cryptand 222 in Chloroform Solution
The interaction between 4, 7, 13, 16, 21, 24 - hexaoxa-1,10 - diazabicyclo [8.8.8] hexacosane (C222) and 7,7,8,8- teracyanoquinodimethane (TCNQ) has been studied in chloroform at 25°C. The results indicate a two step mechanism. At the first step, two adducts (assign as P1 and P2) are formed through equilibrium reactions. In continue and through nonequilibrium reactions the adducts are conve...
متن کاملStudy on the Interaction between Isatin-β-Thiosemicarbazone and Calf Thymus DNA by Spectroscopic Techniques
The interaction between isatin-β-thiosemicarbazone (IBT) and calf thymus DNA (CT-DNA) was investigated in physiological buffer (pH 7.4) using Neutral Red (NR) dye as a spectral probe by UV–Vis absorption and fluorescence spectroscopy, as well as viscosity measurements. The IBT is stabilized by intercalation in the DNA ( K [IBT –DNA] =1.03×105 M−1), and displaces the NR dye from the NR–DNA comple...

15 صفحه اولInteraction between phloretin and the red blood cell membrane
Phloretin binding to red blood cell components has been characterized at pH6, where binding and inhibitory potency are maximal. Binding to intact red cells and to purified hemoglobin are nonsaturated processes approximately equal in magnitude, which strongly suggests that most of the red cell binding may be ascribed to hemoglobin. This conclusion is supported by the fact that homoglobin-free re...
